On Saturday July 21st, 2012 we had the privilege to attend the 4th Annual Tammy Levent Birthday Bash held at the Fiker, Jaguar & Spyker Center in Tampa.  Through the years, the birthday extravaganza, has become one of Tampa Bay’s top social events.  As the Who’s Who of the Bay, gazed fabulous fashion and danced the night away, all in support of a great cause.

Upon arrival we were greeted with champagne, as we dazed in amazement at all of the great decor.  They had an identifiable theme and it was well carried out. The theme was titled Greek To Freak and great care was taken to transform the Jaguar Center from an upscale dealership to a night under the Greek stars.

We knew right away that there was going to be something different about this year’s event. As we proceeded through the doors, we were struck by the linen-draped tables, adorned with Greek deserts and beautiful centerpieces. This further supported the elegant Greek theme.

As the night progressed we found the food, which was catered by Acropolis Greek Taverna to be remarkably delicious.  The authenticity of the Greek flavoring in each plate was tastefully delicious.

Further proof that the birthday committee really meant business this year, led by Roxy Lucas of Roxy’s Place, was heavily supported by the attention to detail.  Roxy’s single effort alone took Tammy’s  event to another level. As we mentioned before, the upscale Jaguar Center is one of the few elegant centers that was able to support such a great venue for the sake of charity. That is why a great effort had to be made in order to make the building look less like a Jaguar dealership, and more like a venue fitting such a high-society ambiance.  The great decor and attention to detail aided in the transformation, as this endeavor alone gets a huge ‘thumbs up’!

Final Assessment: Exceeded Expectations. Tammy Levent along with Roxy Lucas, combined with the efforts and support of the many sponsors managed to pull off perhaps their best event in recent years. We encourage them to keep challenging themselves to find new ways to wow us. While it may be difficult, it will be well worth it.
